I am a Long Island girl living and raising my children in Queens, NY. I am a wife, a mom, a baton twirling coach and now a yoga teacher. I started baton twirling at the age of 6 and continued to twirl throughout my childhood, teenage years and into early adulthood. I competed locally, regionally, nationally and toured internationally as a member of the Sparklers, a baton twirling group from Long Island.
I began teaching baton twirling at the age of 17 which helped me through my college years. I am the coach I am today because of my experiences with the Sparklers and amazing mentors. Upon moving to New York City I soon realized that although city kids have sport teams and other after school activities to choose from, none offered the kind of experience I enjoyed with twirling. I felt the need to share my wonderful positive experiences with children here in the big city. I established City Twirlers in October 2004 and currently continue to teach children in Queens today.
Baton twirling has been a part of my life as a child and continues to be a part of my life as an adult. My goal is to be able to share my passions through my love of teaching with everyone who meets me.
I am also a certified yoga teacher. It is another one of my passions and I want to start sharing my yoga practice with the community.
