Jessica Pereyra
I am a Long Island girl living and raising my children in Queens, NY. I am a wife, a mom, a baton twirling coach and now a yoga teacher. I started baton twirling at the age of 6 and continued to twirl throughout my childhood, teenage years and into early adulthood. I competed locally, regionally, nationally and toured internationally as a member of the Sparklers, a baton twirling group from Long Island.
Jacinda O'Rourke
My name is Jacinda and I've practiced twirling for nearly a decade I am studying Elementary/Early Childhood Education and Psychology in Queens College.
Being on the City Twirlers felt like such a privilege. Baton twirling wasn’t just a sport to me, it was a part of who I was. By having such an incredible team, it became more than just winning or losing, we were a family, and it was our life. I was so grateful to have that experience with my teammates where we were able to grow and improve so much together.
